What this site is — and isn't

Red Deer Hood Cleaning Connect is an independent referral service for commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning in Red Deer and Central Alberta. We are not a cleaning company. We don't own trucks, employ technicians, or pretend to. What we do is simple: publish genuinely useful information about hood and duct cleaning in this region, answer inquiries around the clock, qualify each job properly, and connect you with one vetted local partner who does the work.

How it works, step by step

1. You call or submit the form. The phone line is answered 24 hours a day by an AI intake assistant — we disclose that everywhere, including here. It's how a 1 a.m. call after close still gets handled properly.
2. The assistant qualifies the job. It asks what a technician would ask: how many hoods and fans, what type of cooking, your hours and volume, when you were last cleaned and whether you hold a current certificate, whether an inspector or insurer has contacted you, and what roof access looks like.
3. Your details go to one partner. Not five companies bidding on your number — one local operator receives a structured, recorded summary and follows up with a quote, usually without needing a site visit first.
4. The partner does the work to the NFPA 96 bare-metal standard and issues a certificate of performance you can hand to your inspector, insurer or landlord.

How we vet the partner

We work with one exclusive partner for this region, and the bar is the same checklist we publish in our guide to choosing a certified exhaust cleaner: recognized training such as IKECA or equivalent, commercial liability insurance, full-system scope — hood, filters, duct run and fan, to bare metal — and proper documentation after every job. If a partner can't hold that standard, they don't get the calls.

About pricing

Prices quoted on this site are typical Central Alberta ranges — most visits run $400–900 — not "our price." Your actual quote comes from the partner, based on your hood count, duct run and grease load, and it's yours to accept or decline. We think publishing honest ranges beats making you call five companies to learn what normal looks like.

Why this model

Restaurant owners searching for compliance help mostly find directories, national chains dispatching from Calgary or Edmonton, and thin pages with no real information. We'd rather run the opposite: local pages that actually explain NFPA 96, cleaning schedules and costs — and one good local operator on the other end of the line.
